After she saw my portfolio before, then one day she asked me to photograph her for “suka2″ for facebook etc. The places for our session were very simple, just walking around Kg. Baru area then spot any location to shoot.

Then the session continued until night, for this time we decided to spot just around our campus UniKL area. Haha, quite lazy actually..

All of the picts above taken with available light only, then I put some flashes to create the rim light but it was not too dramatic like my previous entry.. Just to separate the background with the subject..

I’ve set up this shoot with my muse and favorite classmate Lily to explore a few new ideas.
I do experiment when photographing clients but I can’t go as far as I wish.
That’s why I need this kind of freewheeling improvisation shoots from time to time.
We underexposed the background by a stop or two for a dramatic effect. Lily is lit with a SB800 flash (I think at 1/16) to camera right with a direct shoot.
Then, we placed an SB600 (probably on 1/20) with a grid on the opposite/back side for some rim light. You can actually see the flash in the picture, but I actually think it adds to the image.
